The paintball gun package can be of very good help to the purchasing of paintball equipment and gear. Most of the packages are great for the beginner or the novice. All the packages can and will vary. The addition of the mask and the gas canisters, this is great for the beginner. But, some of the packages take a gun and place some of the upgrades that a more advanced player would find very attractive.

The gear and supplies can vary from the mask, to tanks, tools , barrels, grips and a wide selection of great products. Once you decide on the gun or marker you want, try looking for the package. Great deals can be found if you look. Some of the packages will require a little bit of assembly. As in any sport, it is important to use all the safety equipment available. True, the paintball is made of a soft gelatin capsule, but when it is ejected from the barrel of a paintball gun it is traveling at a good clip and it really does hurt when hit. The vest and chest protectors are a must. Along with offering some padding to absorb the hits, they also have pockets and places to carry a lot of the gear you may need during to game. From the pants, gloves and elbow and knee pads, it is important to protect yourself.  Some of the protective clothing or gear may come in the paintball marker package and this addition may help to make the package a real value.

As you can tell, there is more to the sport of paintball then just a gun.  Being able to work on your gun and change out the different parts, will of course help with the overall maintaince of the marker.  Cleaning the gun is one of best ways to ensure proper operation.  It will also help you to detect a problem before you get in the field.
